Kathi Blais was born May 30, 1973 in a small town in Stratford, New Jersey. In 1976 her family moved to Naperville, Illinois where she learned to ice skate and swim. In 1980 her family moved to Marietta, Ga where she would spend most of her life growing up. As a child, she was a competitive gymnast and swimmer until she found soccer. Soccer became her love and she played collegiate soccer at North Carolina Wesleyan College. Kathi transferred to Valdosta State University where she received her Exercise Physiology Degree with a Minor in Cardiac Rehab. Kathi is married to Greg Blais and has 3 children. 13 year old Brock, 8 year old Brody and 4 year old Briley. In her adult years, Kathi became a triathlete and pursued her dream of competing in the Ironman championships in Kona, Hawaii. She is involved with the Valdosta Tennis community and has won two state championships, one with woman’s doubles and one with Mixed doubles. She is a 200 hr certified Yoga Instructor. Kathi has been teaching Yoga for 8 years. Kathi became involved with Cross fitWInnersville 6 years ago and has never looked back. She loves to watch people set and goal and achieve it no matter how small. She enjoys coaching yobility and being apart of the crossfit family. Kathi plans on attending the certification for crossfit for adaptive athletes in September. Kathi looks forward to being able to help athletes with limitations to meet their goals.
