Together they have a 2 year old daughter, Brynn, and are expecting their next baby in July 2016. Claire’s fitness background is in Classical Ballet and other Dance disciplines. She has danced since the age of 3; competing and performing nationally through her school age years. Claire continued her dance career as a Dance Major at Ball State University and member of the Ball State Dance Theatre Company for 3 years, before transferring to and graduating from Boise State University in 2010. Claire has been a Dance Instructor since the age of 15. She has worked with children ages 3-18, teaching and choreographing in all genres of dance. Most recently Claire was Master Instructor at a dance academy in Kaiserslautern, Germany where her family was fortunate enough to live for 5 years. It was through teaching dance that Claire discovered her passion for working with children. While living in Germany, Claire was introduced to and fell in love with CrossFit. She was instantly inspired by the positive sense of community that is so special in CrossFit, and even more quickly became addicted to the electric feeling of accomplishment that is a result of achieving a physical feats you thought to be impossible. Claire completed the CrossFit Level 1 Trainer course in November 2013 and has been coaching CrossFit ever since. She helped develop and grow a Ladies program at the CrossFit RageCage in Sembach, Germany and continued her coaching at CrossFit Kaiserslautern in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Claire also completed her CrossFit Movement and Mobility certification in March 2014, and was involved in judging CrossFit competitions throughout Europe. In October 2015, Claire’s family moved to Valdosta and was happy to have found a new home at CrossFit Winnersville! Claire completed the CrossFit Kids certification in January 2016, and is so excited to get to work with the already awesome Kids at CrossFit Winnersville.
